Mandir Music Circle Practice Get-Together	Friday January 13th	7:00pm	This is an ideal opportunity for all those, young and old, who would like to get together and practice either their musical instrument skills (harmonium, keyboard, tabla etc) or their singing skils ( bhajans, dhuns, or karaoke). This Mandir Music Circle group will meet once a month on the second Friday of every month in the evening. *** The program wil be as follows: *** 7:00 pm to 7:20 pm Aarti 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm Musical Practice Session *** Al those who would like to participate will have to come prepared with one or two tunes they would like to practice either singing or on their musical instruments. This is a good opportunity for all those who would like to improve their musical skills and also enjoy doing it with others. Makar Shakranti & Volunteers Appreciation	Saturday January 14th	2:00pm	Due to the expected cold weather, this year we will celebrate the Makar Shakranti event at our Mandir along with our Volunteer Appreciation Night. Kites will be available for all youth under 15 on a first come, first served basis. Also, we will have pizza in honor off all those volunteers who helped out last year in all our Mandir events and during weddings. *** The program for the day will be as follows: *** 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm Kite Flying (in Mandirs compound or nearby park) 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm Prathna and Dhun 6:30 pm to 6:40 pm Thanks to all volunteers 6:40 pm to 7:00 pm Aarti 7:30 pm onwards Pizza
Bhajan Sammelan Planning Meeting	Saturday January 21st	5:00	The second planning meeting for our April 2012 National Mahila Mandal Bhajan Sammelan has been scheduled for Saturday January 21st at 5 pm. All committe members, volunteers, and anyone else who would like to help out are invited to participate in this meeting. *** Tentative schedulle is as follows: *** 5:00 pm to 5:10 pm Prathna 5:15 pm to 7:00 pm Discussion 7:00 pm to 7:20 pm Aarti 7:30 pm onwards Dinner *** Note: At this meeting, all Bhajan Sammelan participants (i.e. ladies as well as men volunteers) are requested to bring their signed "Release of Liabillity Forms" and submit them to our Indubhai for record-keeping. These forms will also be available at this meeting, in case you do not have them. The importance of signing and submitting these forms will be explained during this meeting. Thank you!
